This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit ZakatCalculatorTool.com (“the website”, “we”, “us”), how it is used, and the choices you have.

All Zakat calculations happen in your web browser. The amounts you enter, such as gold weights, prices, savings, investments and liabilities, are never sent to us, stored, or saved. When you close or reload the page, they are gone. The printable report is created on your device, and only you can print or save it.

We do not ask for, and we do not store:

• Names, email addresses or phone numbers (unless you choose to email us)
• Financial account details
• Login information. The website has no accounts

Like almost every website, our hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically keeps standard server logs when a page is requested. These may include your IP address, browser type, device type, the page you requested, the referring page, and the date and time. These logs are used to keep the website secure and working properly. We do not use them to identify you.

We also use Google Search Console, which shows us aggregated information about how the website appears in Google Search results, such as search terms and the number of clicks. It does not place cookies on your device or identify individual visitors.

This website uses, or may use, Google AdSense to display advertisements. Advertising helps keep the calculator free.

Our pages link to other websites, such as scholarly and charitable organizations we cite as sources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites.

If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use them only to reply to you, and we do not share them or add you to any mailing list.

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Because we do not store personal information from the calculator, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you have emailed us and would like that correspondence deleted, just ask. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or US state privacy laws. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
